and they call me HughHefner

So - while eating dinner one night last week - Elliet decided that he would wear - or I asked him to put on clothes - this Cars bathrobe that I got for the boys last summer. As Elliet spends a large part of his day naked - it is always a challenge to get him to wear clothes. Yes we keep the house at 62 degrees and it is now usually 20 degrees out side, but he insist that he is not cold and does not want clothes on. As he can take them off after you put them on - I have just given up trying to get him dressed unless we are going somewhere or we are eating dinner. Hence the robe.

Today was a nice day. We just hung out and played with our friends in the neighborhood. I started the laundry which i usually a 2 day project - its about 6-7 loads of laundry then folding then putting away. I can only imagine as the boys get bigger that the laundry will get more and more - and i will be trying to teach them to do there own - though that day may never come... it a wish i can wish as i fold the 30th pair of underwear and sort the 50 pairs of socks and wonder did again the dryer eat a sock - i am missing a few matches. (especially drews - they are so tiny).

Well - thats the day - stay tuned for more updates:) have a great night - i am off to bed - it 11:10pm :)

The cake i made

Well I have been making cakes for my friends kids for thier birthdays. It has been kinda fun doing it. they turn out pretyy need - not "ace of Cake" material, but not bad. Here are the last two that i have done. Tinker Bell and a hockey skate. The boys have lots of fun eating the icing and helping to decorate the left over cupcakes. needless to say - we all love frosting and hopefully it does not add to many pounds to our behinds.
Ice Hockey Skate: - for a 7 year old boy.

Tinkerbell cake for Jack's "girlfriend" Brianna who turned 6 yrs.

Happy valentines day

Well we missed valentines day to post these pictures - but i thought that i would put them up anyways. The boys Grandma Strang sent them v-day care packages which contained the shirts that they are wearing. They wore them to school for their valentines day parties.

Also in the picture is Drew and his glasses. He has an astigmatism in his right eye so we are hoping that teh glasses will help to strengthen his eye muscles. We went last week to the eye surgen to see how they were woring and we are now also wearing a patch - he is our little pirate now.

Just in case you did not know i have started weight wathcers to lose that "baby weight" that i have put on over the last 3 pregnancies and 5 years. so far i have lost 5 lbs. (203-196) - not to bad i think, for three weeks. I joined our Local Gym and am enjoying the workout classes that I am taking. Scott stays home and looks after the boys. It i sfun to go - i get out of the house for awhile - after a day of "talking" to the boys about "sharing" their toys- i need it.
